This place is a community staple. Great service, great food and even better prices A massive parking lot so you won't have any issues with parking at all. The service is great and everyone is very friendly. Love the ambiance. It gives off old school diner vibes. Now on to the food and how good it is for the price point. I got a super big boy combo. Price was $16.99 and it comes with a salad and fries. Massive burger with good portions. You won't find prices like this anywhere

This place has been on my list for quite some time. I've been to a Big Boy before. But, not for years. And this location has so much history. Plus, it's open late! We stopped by around 12:30am on a Saturday. We were seated quickly. Oh, the nostalgia. The inside is just what you would expect. big comfy booths and that old school diner feel with fair prices to boot. I got the chili spaghetti and the hubs got a bacon cheeseburger. We both enjoyed our meals. Only minor complaint I had was that I didn't ask for the dressing for my salad on the side and the lettuce was swimming in it. No biggie, but if you don't like a ton of dressing, ask for that on the side.

We just love Bob's Big Boy! I've been here for over a decade and still haven't tried everything in the menu because I love certain dishes! The service here is promo and we love visiting it favorite server, Janelle! The staff and decor make it so nostalgic and they always play great music! You can always make great memories here whether it's 8 in the morning or midnight! A true gem of a landmark and a restaurant you'll want to visit for a great childhood experience! Definitely check out all of the cool decor and autographed photos of stars that have visited!

I have been putting off writing my review for months. I just wanted to get my thoughts together before starting to write my way over due review on this ICONIC, HISTORIC, LEGENDARY RESTAURANT/DINER that is still standing STRONG in Burbank Taluca Lake. I have been going to Bob's Big Boy for decades!! Since I was 12 years old. I am in my mid 50's and still enjoy going there and choosing 1,2, or 3 items from their EXTENSIVE MENU! I don't think anyone that is especially from my ERA will not enjoy dining at Bob's. They have everything on their menu for kids, adults, seniors. It is that good! Too bad, so many of their locations closed down thru out the years. I used to go to the one in Hollywood on Vine street when I used to live in Hollywood. That location has long been gone. Every time I go to Bob's, I like to try something new, different and every time the food tastes better and better. Especially their omelets, waffles, pancakes, bacon/sausages, sandwiches of any kind, shakes, desserts and main dishes from their lunch or dinner menus. It brings back childhood memories that we shared with family, friends and co-workers. The Ambiance gives you this old yet warm feeling that you just want to sit and observe for a while after you are done eating. It is very clean inside and outside their patio. Affordable prices, nice portions and SPECTACULAR, EXCELLENT, GREAT service. You don't have to wait for too long for your food to come out from the moment that you place your order with your server. All of their servers are super nice, kind, knowledgeble, helpful, and sweet. There is never a problem of any kind when you go to Bob's. And let's not forget about their late 70's and 80's music. So NOSTALGIC!:-)) I can go on and on and on. So I will stop my review here or else it will become to be a BOOK!! I will return very soon and hope this location will never go out of business like most businesses do! Keep our fingers crossed and pray to God! Love you Bob's Bib Boy, staff and management!!! Thank you for your unconditional loyalty, dedication, contribution, service to your dear customers. So appreciated!:-))

Bob's Big Boy in Burbank holds a special place in my heart. Countless times, my dad and I would ride out to visit family at Forest Lawn, then stop at Bob's for lunch afterward. My go-to order? The Big Boy Combo with fries (well-done), a salad with ranch, and a Vanilla Coke. Sometimes, I'll switch it up with a Strawberry Shake or treat myself to their Hot Fudge Cake for dessert. No matter what you choose, you really can't go wrong--it's all classic and delicious! If you go during peak hours, expect a wait. However, counter seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis if you're dining solo or with a small party and don't want to wait. They also have a nice covered patio, so you can bring your furry friends--just make sure they're well-behaved.

What an iconic diner! They play 80's music, not too loud so that you can have a conversation with your friends. Our service was great, she was very friendly, and helpful with suggestions! My husband had The Big Two from the breakfast menu, there was nothing left on his plate! He said the pancakes were cooked perfectly, bacon was crispy, sausage was great, and eggs were amazing! I had the All American burger and it was delicious! The toppings were fresh and crispy! The cheese was cheesy and my burger was cooked a little over medium which I requested, but it was still very good!! Definitely recommend this iconic diner!

Naturally I came to dine here in honor of David Lynch & the experience exceeded my expectations. This place perfectly encapsulates a long lost era & all the feed good vibes of simpler times. It's a boomer nostalgic fantasy of a time when fast food culture still had integrity & quality. Great fun atmosphere, great music, super cute merchandise. The host was a cutie. Damn fine burger and real thick milkshakes. I can't wait to come back actually.

This review is for my personal experience where I only came in to sit at the bar counter and ordered a chocolate shake and a coffee. I did not order any other food items on this particular trip, so I can't speak to that. I came in slightly after peak dinner time so I was able to get a seat right away. The person that greeted and helped me at the counter was very friendly. The vibe here is classic/old school diner. I believe this is the original or maybe at least oldest location. Okay, full disclosure, I came in and did the nerdy/ geek thing where I ordered the chocolate shake and a coffee, because I read that's what David Lynch used to come in and order every day at 2:30pm. I visited about a week after his passing (RIP) and just wanted to enjoy that order as well as see his makeshift shrine outside. I'm writing this review today because it happens to be 'Twin Peaks Day' haha (2/24). I love visiting and experiencing things that are both places to eat and an attraction/museum like in a way (e.g. dining at Brennan's in NOLA because it was the birthplace of bananas foster) I thought the space was really cool and would love to come back soon and actually have some of the food items on the menu. Extra fluff, but read on if you want - I read he (David Lynch) would come in at 2:30pm to order the chocolate shake because at peak lunch time, the machine was overused so the shakes were as cold and had a more softer/watery consistency. Luckily for me since I came in on the later side, the shake seemed to be perfect in temp and texture.

This is one of the originals, and a great place to come with the family! Tastes just like I remembered growing up. Family faves are the Big Boy Combo, and the Chili Spaghetti. Awesome onion rings! My nieces husband had a whole plate as his meal! Love their blue cheese dressing as well, and always get extra for fry dipping! Service is typically on point, and any substitutions, and extra requests are never a challenge. Great diner vibe, with outdoor seating as well. They have some Big Boy memorabilia for sale up by the register, and of course, the kiddos always love hanging out by the Big Boy statue in the front! We've never gone wrong with a meal here, and it definitely leaves everyone in my family, satisfied!
